Legend of the Northern Blade is an action-packed martial arts manhwa that brings the readers into a martial arts world of epic battles. This series stands out from others in its genre due to its unique art and panelling style and a murim world-building that is modified specifically towards the author’s take on the world of murim.

Story: 9/10

Legend of the Northern Blade starts slowly from the MC’s state of being powerless, and enters a high-paced storyline once the MC has reached the state of being “overpowered”. The author is very imaginative in terms of curating his own style of murim that is refreshing for readers that are well-versed in understanding the murim concept. Each important characters are equipped with their very own backstory that brings significance towards each of their own which brings a good synergy with the overall storyline.

Art: 10/10

One of if not the best art in all webcomics, unique and ethereal.

Another must read for new webcomic readers, just like Solo Leveling. Maybe a bit boring to follow if you expect great action and show of power from the start. Persevere for a dozen or few chapters and you will never regret it. This webcomic brought me to love murim and martial arts webcomics, my personal favorite amongst all others.
